NGM Garden Club

Welcome to the Garden Club

The Garden Club is a community where people come together to learn, grow, and connect through gardening. With tools like planters, soil, and seeds, plus workshops and events, it’s all about making it easy and fun to grow your own food, no matter your experience level.

Rooted in NGM’s mission to make sustainable, local food accessible to everyone, the Garden Club goes beyond gardening. It’s a way to foster connections — with nature, sustainable practices, and a like-minded community — while creating a lasting impact on your health, your community, and the planet.

What is the Garden Season?

The garden season, running from May to October, is a time to grow fresh, healthy food right at home. It’s an opportunity to connect with nature, learn new skills, and enjoy the rewards of fresh produce you’ve cultivated yourself. By growing your own food, you’re taking meaningful steps toward a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle and reducing your reliance on commercial food systems.

Community Empowerment

Gardening is a powerful step toward food sovereignty, allowing individuals to grow fresh, healthy food and rely less on commercial supply chains. In a time of rising prices and unpredictable availability, it provides a reliable, affordable, and sustainable alternative to grocery stores. Gardening strengthens communities by creating shared opportunities for success, where people can connect, support one another, and build resilience together.
